Adoptable Ferrets
Ferret Den Ferrets Looking for a Permanent Home
The
foremost thought in your mind when thinking of adopting from a shelter
should be giving a needy animal a home, not how young or cheap you can
acquire a ferret.

Name:
Trinity Color:
Silver Sex:
Male Date of Birth:
10/03/03 Name:
Quinn
|
|
Trinity is a very amazing ferret. Trinity had major surgery and was up, alert and busy by the next day. Trinity definitely does not act his age. Quinn is a very rambunctious ferret. He loves being out. The minute you walk by his cage he is up and ready to play. Temperance, a gorgeous, older female, who definitely has a mind of her own. She is very playful and a bit feisty. Temperance does not do well with children. Trinity, Quinn and Temperance arrived at the shelter together. They are here because their owner could not keep up with cleaning them. They have been separate since their arrival due to surgeries.

of allergies. They are very playful and well mannered. |

Name:
Falcon
Color: Silver Sex: Male Date of Birth: 1/06/05 Falcon was brought into
the Den by his owners who were moving across the country. He came in with
two others but he does great as a single. He is losing his sight but you
can’t really tell except for looking at his eyes and he likes to sniff you a
lot. Falcon also needs lots and lots of out time.
If he is not tired he will be shaking his cage to let you know about
it. |

Name: Salsa/aka/Spike Color: Sable Sex: Female Date of Birth: 02/02/05 Salsa at 6 months of age was given to a couple shopping at Animal Crackers. She was turned in to us because she was a bad biter. Salsa can be handled but very carefully. It took four months before she would stop shaking when you would reach in to her cage to take her out. It is doubtful she will ever totally trust people. |
Name: Amaretto Amaretto arrived at the shelter on February 25, 2006. He was turned in by the owners grandmother. When her granddaughter moved out she did not come back for her ferret. The reason given was pregnancy. The first several days he was wild and did not want to be handled at all. This was understandable due to the fact the grandmother was not able to properly care for him. Amaretto is still very frisky and has turned into a handsome little guy. |

Name: Corky We picked Corky up from Milwaukee Animal Control. He had been brought in as a stray. Corky is a stocky, well-behaved little guy. He loves people and is all over you immediately when he is out. Corky’s hearing is right on. The minute you stand by his cage and call his name he flies out of his sleep cube and is by the door. If someone is looking for a very active single Corky is definitely the guy. At this time he is not happy with other ferrets. |
